If we evolved I wish to know that we did and that it took a very long time.

It seems that Mr Ham does NOT - unless of course the knowledge is Bible interpretations rather than any genuine scientific discovery gradually acquired.ashleyhrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04408129014757944228noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3728725441575309638.post-90674064977776763502014-06-09T09:49:44.383-07:002014-06-09T09:49:44.383-07:00Ah I see. Perhaps I was too quick too judge.

It probably has to do with how YECs perceive this Earth-an ephemeral vessel to house their body and soul, or a testing ground which if they keep the faith, would transition to Heaven.
From this POV, whats the point of caring about global warming if the Apocalypse is nigh anyway? (Probably explains why they dont bother enough with caring for their God's creation.....)

Its too bad that Dr Wile has begun censoring comments; he's one of the more polite, eloquent YECs out there.

Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14168059350570206901noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3728725441575309638.post-90800302293923213952014-06-08T15:47:42.015-07:002014-06-08T15:47:42.015-07:00I believe he's posted several times on this to...I believe he's posted several times on this topic before. I'm not surprised, given that many YEC's are skeptics of climate change on one level or another (AiG takes a stab at it whenever possible). In my opinion, he accomplishes this by relying on a select few papers without understanding the complexity of climate science or appreciating how difficult it is to distinguish a climatic response to rising CO2 amid so much background variability. Most of the papers he cites, however, do not support the conclusions he draws from them (as I tried to demonstrate above). When confronted on this topic, unfortunately, he avoided the substance of my argument and the papers that contradict his view. I tried to reason, but my comments were always delayed by moderation and eventually stopped showing up. So this is my effort to balance misinformation floating around the internet. ;) And in the process, I learned a lot about the debate over global drought trends.Chemostrat1646https://www.blogger.com/profile/01067579479402100587noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3728725441575309638.post-26160741649792855102014-06-08T10:46:32.322-07:002014-06-08T10:46:32.322-07:00Seriously now Dr Wile engages in global warming de...Seriously now Dr Wile engages in global warming denialism too??
No offense to him....but how many crank ideas can one hold at once?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14168059350570206901noreply@blogger.com
